    Simple

    Really easy to do.
    I use bitly.com to make short codes for posting on social media, and it also offers QR codes.
    The whole Bitly tool is a good way for measuring activity.

    If it's just a case of creating a QR code which you can use to send people to a URL, or even distribute a simple file etc, then there are plenty of sites where you can generate one - e.g. https://www.qr-code-generator.com/.

    Pretty much all devices will work with them (although some older Android phones will not pick them up automatically from the camera and might need an app such as QR Droid installed, so it's best to advise this on your point of interaction if possible).
